As part of our COVID-19 response, this website is being offered for J.D. Barnes staff to access their work computers remotely over any internet connection using a modern web browser such as Chrome/Firefox/Edge that can support html5 content. Old web browsers (Internet Explorer) cannot render this content and are unsupported.
1. Preparing your computer.
To allow this to operate, staff will need to ensure their workstation is turned on at all times. Remote restarts are impossible/difficult to perform. On the front of each JDB computer are yellow asset management tags. One has an inventory number plus a second one with the name of the machine on our network. Record this name as you'll need it once you are offsite.

You will need to obtain a one-time auth code sent to your company E-mail to access the next web form. Enter the name of your computer in lower case into both username and password fields. If everything is working OK, it should present a login/password screen from Windows. Use your normal JDB credentials and your computer desktop should appear.3. Tips.
If you are in the office, it's suggested your test the remote access using a browser from a different machine to ensure that remote desktop is working.
